Aspen Upgrade - Print 504 & IEP Plans for Multiple Students

Introducing the ability to print 504 and IEP Plans for multiple students!

Last year, the Math Department spent time outlining desired features/changes to make Aspen more user-friendly.  The CCHS Tech Leaders spent more time fleshing out the Math Department suggestions.  The most desired upgrade became the ability to print multiple IEP and 504 Plans.  Brian worked with Administration to hire an outside consultant to implement this change!

Printing 504 or IEP Plans for Multiple Students


Three places in Aspen allow access to print multiple 504 or IEP Plans for students:

  1. Staff View - Student Top Tab
  2. Staff View - Gradebook Top Tab > Rosters Side Tab
    • This is nice if you want to create a set of reports for each of your blocks.  (It will require you to run the report a few more times but might make reading/sorting easier)
  1. School View - Student Top Tab

In all three places, go to:

Reports > Ed Plans > 504 Plan or IEP Form

This will generate one PDF (of either 504s or IEPs) for all of the students shown on the screen.  If you only want to print some of your students' plans, you can check them and go to Options > Show Selected and run the report.
Below are more detailed directions including screenshots to help!


1. Staff View > Student Top Tab > Reports > Ed Plans > 504 or IEP:


Any student with your selected plan (504 or IEP) will print.


2.  Staff View >Gradebook Top Tab > Rosters Side Tab > Reports > Ed Plans > 504 or IEP:

Any student with your selected plan (504 or IEP) will print.

3. School View > Student Top Tab > Reports > Ed Plans > 504 or IEP:

 Any student with your selected plan (504 or IEP) will print.


4.  To print only selected students:

From any of the three places outlined above, add checkboxes next to the student names whose 504/IEP you wish to print.


Click Options>Show Selected:

Only those students you selected will be listed.

Now, click Reports > Ed Plans > 504 or IEP to print reports for only those students.

Google Classroom: Why Are Students Seeing Graded Returned Work as Assigned or Late?
