2 Time Saving Tips in Google Calendar

We all spend a lot of time using Google Calendar.  I was surprised to learn a few new tricks that I didn't know existed! Go to Date: It is common to receive a list of meeting dates we need to attend for the school year or semester.  It can be tedious to navigate to each date to enter the meeting on your calendar.  Did you know you can type a ' g ' (short for Go to Date ),  and a box will appear?   Type in the date of the next event , click Go , and you are automatically taken to that date! Search: One of the things Google does best is search, so it shouldn't surprise me that you can search for events in Google Calendar.  But, I didn't know that you could! Click the ' /' , and a search box appears at the top of your calendar.  Enter search terms, and Google will show you all the events that meet your search criteria! What's New with Google Calendar?

You may have noticed your Google Calendar changed last week!  Google refreshed the calendar app to look and feel more like their mobile app.  It looks more modern, and Google simplified the way you get the information you need! Below are a few changes I really like: Google has improved Invitations to Calendar Events: Google Calendar Invitees If you are invited to a Google Calendar Event, not only will you receive an email, the event will show on your calendar based on how you've responded to the invitation: If you’re attending an event , the event will be all one color.   If you’ve answered maybe to an even t, you’ll see diagonal lines across it . If you haven’t replied yet , you’ll just see the event’s outline. If you said no , you’ll only see the outline and the event will be crossed out.
